Ну что, любители Gotan Project, днями слушавшие альбом за альбомом этого прекрасного коллектива? И те, кто напевал яркие запоминающиеся мелодии из Bajofondo Tango Club? Сегодня есть свеженькое и интересное именно для вас!
Малоизвестный лэйбл Lola's World Music (впрочем, смотря для кого малоизвестный) выпустил интереснейший двухдисковый сборник электро-танго "The Tango Club Night".
Сборник разделен на две части, первая из которых, Lounge Side, более спокойная и меланхоличная, а вторая, Club Side, являет собой полутанцевальные хаус-треки и всё в таком духе. Мне признаться больше понравилась первая, где мы можем найти истинных мастеров жанра электро-танго - это одна из моих любимых композиций Andres Linetsky & Ernesto Romero - Sentimientos, куча знакомых имён вроде Mystic Diversions, Carlos Libedinsky и Stolen Beat, а также множество ранее неслышанного, и при этом очень любопытного! В общем, первый диск скорее подходит для тихой, уютной релаксации рядом с любимым человеком, ритмы на нём воистину душевны и глубоки; тогда как второй выполнен в полу-дискотечном стиле, и подойдёт скорее для тех, кто проводит ночи в клубах, как оригинальное дополнение к музыкальному меню.
Так что, как минимум первый диск для всех почитателей - must have, а для интересующихся - must have вдвойне.

А вот описание с сайта авторов компиляции: 2001 Electro-Tango had its breakthrough. The debut album of the french Gotan Project was playing all over the world in every ice-cream parlor and trend-restaurant. Since then a lot happend, especially in the lounge-area there is a lot of music on the interface of triphop, downbeat and neo-tango. The perfect music to dance to while sitting. To hit the spot it is that mutation of tango to which you can perfectly iron, have breakfast, or clean your windows, without having the need to jump from the balcony immediately. (A prejudice with that classic tango has to struggle). The „lounge“-side of the current double-album „Tango Club Night“ contains wonderful songs by Daniel Melingo, Carlos Libedinsky, G-Spliff and other electro-tango-stars. The majority of the artists comes of course from argentina, but many of them live at the mediterran sea, e.g. in Barcelona, Ibiza, Marseille or Genua. They produce modern, atmospheric electro-tango, that is perfectly suitable for two people to have fun with eachother in a releaxed way. Of course we are only talking about dancing tango here. What else could happen is not under our influence. The „house“-side of the „Tango Club Night“- compilation is not adressing only the international club-scene, but also to the experienced tango-fans, who are able to dance tango to house-grooves. Here you will find the Gotan Project-Remix of Sarah Vaughan´s „Whatever Lola wants“ and the Barrio Populaire-Remix of Otros Aires´s „La Pampa Seca“. Of course there is also the classic „Libertango“-version of Grace Jones from the year 1981 and the still unreleased track „Despierto“ by Omar. Disc 2 of „Tango Club Night“ can be played at every party and it will be playing till the end, believe us. You will hear modern tango sounds, but in the combination with house everybody will be able to move to it. There isn´t really another chance anyway, because the music forces you on the dancefloor! By the way, the compilation is also a „must-have“ for every latin-dj, because every song is presented unmixed. „Tango Club Night“ was compiled by Dj Ralph „von“ Richthoven, who is an active club-dj in germany since over 30 years. At the radio programme „Funkhaus Europa“ he is the pioneer of the first hour and in the worldmusic-area he specialized on „Global Electronica“. The long „Tango Club Night“ can start now.
