'Tales From The Underground' is a five disc bootleg containing various live performances, rehearsals, outtakes, rare tracks, collaborations, alternate versions and unreleased covers from Tom's long and distinguished career. Quality varies between recordings but overall the collection is around an A. Some of Waits finest non-album momements are collected on this 5 disc set of B-sides, promo tracks, demos, soundtrack work, guest appearances, outtakes, and unreleased tracks. The guest apperances include Lour Reed, Elvis Costello, Bruce Springsteen, Bonnie Raitt, Kieth Richards, Ramblin' Jack Elliott, Los Lobos and Les Claypool to name a few. 70% of the tracks are A/A- sound quality. The other 30% are very rare bootleg and demo tracks which range from B to D+.'Tales from The Riverside' is a compilation of various tracks from various sources. Works as a nice addendum to the 5 disc Tales from the Underground set. The set was put together by the fine folks at rhinedogs.de. Please note that some of this material is considered 'pirated', and that you should support the artists to from whom it has been officially released.Please note that 'Tales from the Underground' is a series of bootleg albums consisting mostly of songs that are available on officially released records. All copies of these bootlegs will diminish sales of the official albums, and as a result rob the composers and artists of their royalties.
