Musically there's a sparking bonding of THRESHOLD, DREAM THEATER and BALANCE OF POWER to listen to. Damn well produced, the performance rules and the songs also are arranged in a gripping way, although you have to put up with some spins. But sometimes I think all the snatchy staccato rhythms are quite tedious, which DREAM THEATER have exhausted ad nauseam and umpteen clones have nearly ridden to death … The same applies for the out of hand getting keyboard duels, it's not really amazing anymore but that's the style. On the positive side I'd like to name the catchy choruses and hooks which definitely enhanced the disc and single it out of the tangled mass of similar releases!
