As a composer/arranger and saxophonist I was able to recognize the connection between writer and player on this recording. Lars plays through his compositions like he owns them as an old friend. The Bohuslan Big Band, which I have had the pleasure of working with, plays beautifully throughout. The players know how to rally together and make the ensemble sound as one. They grabbed the spirit and attitude of the music as only a group of positive, giving and fun-loving people can. I think you will enjoy this combination of Lars Jansson and the Bohuslan Big Band as much as I have. The music is unique, joyous and fun!"
