Quadraphonic recording extravaganza from the 1970's and Von Karajan!


WARNING; this will NOT play in a normal cd player-if you do, you can damage the speakers with the static that it will play-you have been warned!!!
YOU NEED A DTS DECODER WITH AT LEAST 4 LOUDSPEAKERS (LF, RF, LR , RR) to appreciate this CD.

Ripped from an SQ matrix CD and Decoded in Adobe Audtion, DTS endoding in Surcode dts pro.
No EQ nor noise reduction applied.

WARNING: L & R Fr and Re were Normalized to 0 dB, hence exercise caution , this is very extreme dynamic range recording.

History:
Most of these EMI recordings from the 1970's were released ONLY as SQ encoded LPs and CD, since their compatibility made them totally enjoyable in Stereo.
The Von Karajan sessions were legendary because the Maestro himself used to assist and produce these Quadraphonic mixdowns-he was VERY MUCH into Multichannel.

Process: These SQ encoded cd's are decoded by a special process ( a script in Adobe Audition). Since this is a CD source , there is no point of making it into Hi Resolution since there is NO info above 20KHz, as opposed to LPs, which can go up to 40K. Even if it's lossy, this DTS 44/16 conversions sound GREAT and are a treat to listen to.

You can burn then to a CD like a normal audio CD or play them back in your PC and Mac in VLC . (in Mac , also playable in itunes and DivX player)
