Guru presents Illkid Records is a 1995 compilation CD highlighting the record label Illkid Records, co-founded by Keith Elam, better known as Guru of the American hip-hop duo Gang Starr. Most of these artists didn't go far after this release but Jeru The Damaja did when he released "Come Clean", featured here. This was released by Payday/ffrr Records.

Guru of Gang Starr was given a side label through Payday Records, in the hopes of developing new talent. The artists were all associated with the Gang Starr crew, and while the label did not prosper, it was the place which gave Jeru The Damaja, Group Home, Bahamadia, M.O.P., and Big Shug a chance to shine for the first time. Producer True Master was also closely associated with Gang Starr before he would move on with greater success as one of the producers for the Wu-Tang Clan. His "Who's The Truest" is one of the few tracks where you get to hear him rhyme.
