Havasi Balazs - Vallomasok zongorara (2001)

Balázs Havasi was born in Budapest in 1975. He graduated from the Liszt Ferenc University of Music, majoring in piano, where Sándor Falvai and Jenő Jandó taught the extremely talented young man. In 1996, at the age of 21, he started his teaching career at the Weiner Leó Music Academy, in the first years his students were often older than him. In 1999, he won the first prize of the Yamaha Piano Competition organized by the Yamaha Music Foundation of Europe, bringing glory not only to himself but also to his country. After that, he signed an exclusive contract with the record label EMI. As a result, 6 LPs were released in 5 years.
These albums marked the beginning of a new era, as the young pianist had only appeared in classical music concerts until his first album.

In 2001, the first audio carrier of his life was put on the market, which was entitled "Confessions for the Piano". Great and famous arrangements have been added to it; ones that almost everyone knows and loves, they just sound a little different on the piano. The audience positively received the new sound of the songs, which rightfully inspired and motivated the young performer and composer.
