Luigi Merci
Composer of the Baroque era (born c. 1695 - died in London c. 1750). He was engaged around 1720 by the Earl of Caernarvon and Duke of Chandos. In 1730 he married Ann Hampshire and moved to Covent Garden.

Paolo Tognon studied the performance of all historical bassoons with some of the best European teachers. Malgoire, P.Nèmeth, R.Jacobs, G.Garrido, P.Neumann, L. van Dael, A.Lawrence King, S.Preston, R.Goodman e in Italia con: L.Picotti, F.M.Bressan, S.Balestracci, S.Vartolo, R.Gini, F.Guglielmo, E.Gatti, A.Cetrangolo, G.Acciai, A.Martini, G.Nalin, G.Capuzzo, G.Toffano, M.G.
