Great blues rock trio to the young, just 20 "guitarslinger" Josh pilot from the Cincinnati area. Pilot is a highly gifted guitarist, strongly influenced by among others B.B. to conquer a place King and Walter Trout, which is preparing on the terrain of the Bonamassas & co.. With their excellent debut album, the troupe anyway, ever puts a real exclamation mark. "Price to pay" is best, played with a lot of steam and power blues rock, whose occasional references to classic guitar rock and Boogie 70's retro Rock ' n roll magnificently in the image fit. In addition to the already mentioned influences traces such sizes such as Rory Gallagher, key and free, but also by Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jeff Healey and ZZ accordingly top. The guys play wonderfully carefree and casual druaflos. The rhythm group, consisting of from the father/son team of Jeff Hargis (bass) and Jason Hargis (drums), provides an excellent foundation that provides the right basis for his brilliant guitar runs the young guitar virtuoso. And of which there are plenty. Pilot, in addition, a great singer, shows again what he has on it. Whether cooking, glowing, wieselflinke runs or inspired, emotional solos - no question he can! We take, for example, the class laced with rich dual guitar riffs, Groovy, straight Blues rocker "price to pay" (many in the 1970s rooted hard-(Blues)rock-Anlagen of British imprint, but also a thoroughly modern Santiago playing the number out, great, glowing solo from pilot), the dirty, powerful surrounding gas, somewhere between Stevie Ray Vaughan and ZZ Top blues rock Boogie-based, building on an ordinary drive "Leavin' letter" (strong, infectious enthusiasm and fire solos of the Saitenslingers), with subtle wind fragments and very emotional lead guitar game waiting on slow Blues "Drowning in misery", the swampige acoustic roots / southern blues "when I'm dead", the at full tilt Boogie rock ' n reel "So long", roots releasing before the rocking slowly and unsmiling, punchy Blues "Mayday", the rough, much power entfachende and a good pace, steaming / Blues rocker "Highway 101" (flaming guitar solo, great vocals, this time by bassist Jeff Hargis), or this embossed Hendrix'schem Wah Wah game and solos powerful verbiegenden the strings "somebody help me" – pilot and his two companions can burn anything. Driving makes guitar-blues rock, the fun! Class debut of Josh pilot band!
