This CD is full of soulful, swingin' and downhome Blues. I have to sit on my hands when I listen to it because I just wish I had played on every track. The band is beautiful, the guitars traditional, weaving patterns sympathetically around Wallace's beautiful harmonica. Wallace is simply an artist at his peak with sweet majestical tones and lines, emanating from his soulful vocals and beautiful harmonica. Never overplaying or underplaying, laying it down with tone, taste and a perfect understanding of his role. This is a joyful reminiscence for me and Wallace of our love for Robert Jr., my mentor and Blues grandfather.
