Under Stars is the fourth album by Scottish singer-songwriter Amy Macdonald, and was released on 17 February 2017.
The album up to now has gathered mixed to positive reviews, receiving a score of 3 out of 5 stars at London Evening Standard, describing the album as "a tuneful collection that doesn’t mess with the formula". Additionally, the Upcoming described the album as "truly awe-inspiring", particularly praising songs such as Down by the Water, stating that the song is "breathtakingly magical and meaningful". It also complimented Macdonald 's vocals, saying that they were "dusky…and sometimes sultry" as well as being the "true light behind each" track. The Express gave the album a positive review, describing it as Macdonald's "strongest album since her debut."
