Franz Liszt – Organ Works

The Wizard of the Keyboards and the King of Instruments are presented to you here; some combination, for sure.
I wonder if Liszt liked playing church organs. The instrument swallows its player, hiding him from an admiring audience, whereas a large part of Liszt’s success depended on his showmanship. He wanted to be seen. Besides, organs often have a history of their own…being rivalled by a machine in terms of stardom may not have been up to our proto-rockstar’s alley.
Hm. I guess I’m just making up things.
