Jeff Talcott is an American recording artist and producer. A native of New England, his music reflects its variety and changeability. Self taught as a guitarist, Jeff began collaborating on music productions while in engineering school and continued to pursue his love of music alongside a career as an inventor and product designer. As a songwriter, his alternative rock style arrangements are blended with elements of electronica, chamber and jazz.
His debut album, Tegere, explores differences between what things seem to be and what they are under the surface. Tracks such as “Surrounded” and “Up or Down” sit at the center of his alternative rock style, while “Rewind” feels more meditative and psychedelic. The rhythmic vocal and instrumental phrases in the orchestral electronica arrangement “Turn” build into gently crashing waves of sound. Tegere sets a mood that breezes between upbeat and dreamy.
