James Newton has been voted Best Jazz Flutist in Down Beat magazine's
International Critics' and International Readers' polls for sixteen
consecutive years. In addition, he has performed with the New York and
Brooklyn Philharmonic orchestras, the Los Angeles Philharmonic New Music
Group, L'Orchèstre du Conservatoire de Paris, and the New York Music
Ensemble, among others.
