John Miles achieved international fame in 1976 with the classic rock ballad "Music" reached # 3 and earned the band an American tour with Elton John. Before that success Miles with his band reached the UK Top 20 with the Alan Parsons–produced "Highfly".
Upfront is the solo album of John Miles released in 1993. It was his first album in 8 years, because he was involved in several projects like an album “Outrider” with Jimmy Page, an album “Night Calls” with Joe Cocker, singing several tracks on albums of The Alan Parsons Project and touring with Tina Turner
