Never Really Knew (NRK for short) makes loud distorted rock music reminiscent of bands we love. However despite us being huge fans of bands we take influence from,by the time we finish the song it becomes ours and thats what makes us believe in it. We put a focus on making ear worm riffs, explosive choruses and off-beat song topics. There is also a heavy focus on artwork and imagery in this band that hopefully the album art+animated music video we have out gets across the vision/message. We've been compared to a myriad of bands, a lot of post hardcore/pop punk staples such as Thursday, My Chemical Romance, and Brand New. We don't mind these comparisons at all, and we'd recommend any fans of those bands or alternative rock in general to check us out! We love to play shows and meet new exciting bands, we mostly play in the New York/New Jersey area but will be planning a tour within the next year.
