Open Mindframe - Sunshine Maybe Later (2019)

Open Mindframe is a music project, founded by Daniel Hren & Alexander Wilm in 2012. In cooperation with various musicians around the globe, Open Mindframe seeks to create a multi-influenced and experimental sound-experience. With a vast amount of sounds at his disposal and his interest in synthesizer modules of the 90s, Daniel Hren focuses on producing Open Mindframe music with a keen eye on the drums and percussion creating an innovative sound with recognition. Combined with the scratchy-distinctive voice of Alexander Wilm and his songwriting, they build the core of the project.

In 2019 Grischa Mentzen joined the project to support Daniel in the studio by playing the guitar.

Grischa was born in the west side of Germany, in Ratingen. His love and passion for the music of guitar legends like Jimi Hendrix, Eric Johnson or Al di Meola, lead him to study classical guitar and music pedagogy at the Robert Schumann University in Düsseldorf. Currently Grischa lives in Bavaria and beats up the local music scene.

After releasing an EP in 2017 and a single in 2018 with Sleepwalk Music Productions, a new album is being produced in 2019 with their own label Mindframe Music created in 2018.
