RMS is a jazz fusion band formed in 1982 by three well known British session musicians. Guitarist, Ray Russell, bass player, Mo Foster and drummer Simon Phillips had all played together on other artists' records before they recorded Centennial Park together in 1982./quote]

The album was released on MMC Records in 1984 and re-released on CD in 2003, along with a CD of their first concert at the Venue in 1982. The band gigged extensively during the mid 80's, and then underwent a long hiatus before reforming in 2007, with drummer Simon Phillips replaced by Gary Husband due to the former's commitments with Toto.
