    Fire in the Manger's four songs balance sludge, and doom in a indisputably metal fashion. The angle for this six-piece is that they have three guitarists (Bing, Andy Strickland, and Scott Stearns). There aren't many moments where you can easily discern that that's the case, but an outfit like Scumchrist really isn't interested in subtlety. They're more in the market of peddling sorrow and misery, and with Fire in the Manger, they do just that."
