The Norman Jackson Band has been on a whirlwind international tour after being named the #3 Blues band in the world at the 2016 International Blues Challenge Finals in Memphis, Tennesse. Norman guarantees, "after you hear us sing the Blues, you'll leave feeling happy"!

Norman Jackson was raised on the southside of Chicago and learned to sing and play the Blues from the masters. His legendary soul dripped vocals along with his funky guitar work will make you scream, "Ain't no groove like a Norman Jackson groove"! Norman found Rick Shortt at the age of 12 and mentored him to play the Blues as his "Soul Daddy" Rick's rip roaring saxophone leads the band driven by his energy, showmanship and wildness which gained him the moniker, "the MadMan of the Blues". Norman's nephew, the Boogie Man, was also tutored and groomed as Norman's drummer since he was a young man. Norman and the band are always quick to remind listeners, "No matter what goes wrong, if your old man ain't acting right, if your old lady ain't acting right, if your food doesn't taste right, if your kids don't listen…. It's the Drummer's Fault!". Danny "Slowmotion" Williams rounds out the rhtyhm section with his steady and funky St. Louis inspired bass lines.
