"Wow, my ears are still ringing from this one. Shifty brings us the second installment of what is now the end all series of sludge compilations. This CD is an even bigger monster than its predecessor, bringing forth tracks you can't hear anywhere else. Headache are heavy beyond belief and deliver three tracks of crippling sludge. These guys kind of remind me of a cross between Leechmilk and Grief in how they mix up the ultra slow, scathing riffs with some faster moments as well. With Weedeater, expect only the finest in heavy southern blues-soaked sludge with thundering bass lines, punishing riffs and Dixie Dave's crawling vocals over the top of everything. Fistula's song moves along with a slow, forceful riff and psychotic vocals. King Travolta rule with their insane mix of sludge, crust, grind, noise and weirdness. Crazy stuff that will definitely appeal to fans of Sloth, Anal Cunt, and Fistula. "

"Cruevo's sound is a unique progressive take on sludge. With winding songs that constantly switch riffs and even add in somber, acoustic moments from time to time with all of the crushing trademarks of sludge intact including the slaughtering heaviness and caustic vocals. Tusks of Blood is brutally heavy and mix vile heavy sludge, with sickening grind style vocals that just bulldoze your mind. These guys were famous for their twin bass assault and its perfectly exemplified on these two tracks. Definitely a great listen for fans of Seven Foot Spleen, Goatsblood and other ultra heavy sludge."

"Moho has a sound that swings as much as Sofa King Killer and gets as doomy as Grief. They run a wide gamut of sludge influences with crushing riffs, that are often soaked in Sabbath and blues or they pound out some truly crawling sections that will make you peel the skin off your face. Top it off with great raspy screams and you've got yourself one hell of an outfit. Sloth rules, plain and simple. Their song on here is of course in vein with most other stuff they do. Anyone out there who is even remotely interested in sludge should own this comp. It's probably the best one out there. Highest recommendation."
