The Études-Tableaux Op. 39 is a set of 9 piano études considered one of the most difficult works in the piano repertoire. Each étude is conceived as a musical image or "tableau", with rich, expressive harmonies, lyrical melodies, and demanding virtuoso passages. This work is dear to Yoav Levanon's heart and follows the young Israeli pianist’s debut album in 2022.
