"Once Again", the much-anticipated second solo album from the multi-platinum Grammy-winning artist John Legend. He has worked with a great list of producers and co-writers, including Kanye West, will. I. am, Raphael Saadiq, Craig Street, Sa-Ra, Eric Hudson, Devo Springsteen, Dave Tozer and Avenue. There is a special guest appearance from Mary J. Blige. Though he had worked with Blige before, Legend said he got to know her better this time around. The album has a range of influences, from soul to hip-hop to classic pop to alternative.

"Hamilton" - which transferred to Broadway following a sold-out run at The Public Theater in NYC - is the acclaimed new musical about the scrappy young immigrant Alexander Hamilton, the $10 Founding Father who forever changed America with his revolutionary ideas and actions. During his life cut too short, he served as George Washington's chief aide, was the first Treasury Secretary of the United States, a loving husband and father, despised by his fellow Founding Fathers, and shot to death by Aaron Burr in a legendary duel.

"The Nearness of You" is the fifth studio album by American jazz vocalist Helen Merrill. It includes performances of standards from two sessions with completely different lineups of accompanying musicians. The later session from February 21, 1958, features very notable jazz performers such as pianist Bill Evans and bassist Oscar Pettiford.

Red Garland and Miles Davis had a symbiotic relationship. Red was such an important cog in the Davis quintet as a soloist, interactive accompanist, and keeper of the repertory. Being in Miles' group gave Garland the exposure he otherwise would not have gotten. Once Garland's talent as a pianist, with a boundless repository of material in his head, was established, Prestige's Bob Weinstock signed him to a contract as a recording leader in his own right. With his Davis section-mate, Paul Chambers, on bass, and New York drummer Arthur Taylor, Garland forned a trio that met quite often in rudy Van Gelder's studio. "Groovy" was the third in Red's trio series for Prestige and it has the usual fine mix of jazz standards, ballad standards, blues ballads, and just plain blues. It is an object lesson in finding and maintaining a groove.

In "Gnosis", the Santiago de Cuba-raised and New York-based pianist-composer David Virelles looks towards one melting pot from the vantage point of another. At one level an autobiographical album, a sequence of images conveyed through sound, Gnosis is a far- reaching work with deep roots. Transculturation and traditions are among the subjects under consideration, and the complex tapestry of Cuba’s music: the sacred, the secular, and the ritualistic. It’s an exciting, vivid and multi-faceted project of rapidly changing temperament, in which pulsating ensemble music and pristine, meditative solo piano both have their places. And it is enveloped in a feeling of mystery and magic that has made each of Virelles’s albums special.

Accomplice Two shares the same exuberance, diversity, and sense of adventure as the first album, with a great range of artists. This album features rock legends Michael McDonald, Jorma Kaukonen, and Little Feat; bluegrass superstars such as Billy Strings, The Del McCoury Band, Sam Bush, Jerry Douglas, Sierra Hull, and David Grisman; country icons such as Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Jamey Johnson, and Raul Malo; and guitar heavyweights like Yasmin Williams, Larry Campbell, and Richard Smith.

On May 1, 2022 an all-star lineup of guests backed by The Next Waltz founder Bruce Robison’s house band performed as part of an 89th birthday celebration for Willie Nelson in his very own backyard in Luck, TX.

The prosperous Hanseatic city of Hamburg with its thriving cultural life always attracted capable minds. One of these was Thomas Selle (1599-1663), who worked here as city cantor from 1641. Around 1650, he compiled what he considered to be the most relevant of his own sacred compositions for printing, in order to preserve his work for posterity. As was customary at the time, there were different instrumentation variants of the works, so that he presented several alternatives in Concertuum Latino Sacrorum. The result is a fascinating compendium by one of the most important composers of his time.
