Der Franzose BASILE TESSEYRE aka BAZIL lebt als Weltbürger seit vielen Jahren zwischen den USA, Jamaica und Europa. Schon als 15-Jähriger schrieb er erste Songs, ging mit 19 nach New York und wenig später auf die Insel des Reggae, wo er sein erstes Album „Stand Up Strong“ aufnahm, das in Frankreich gleich zum zweitbesten Reggae-Seller des Jahres 2011 wurde.
Im TUFF GONG entstand sein Song „Together Tonight“ für den Film „Destiny“, 2015 erschien sein Minialbum „High On Music“, er kooperierte mit MANUDIGITAL und ging mit ihm auf weltweite Tour, inklusive der wichtigsten europäischen Szenefestivals. Auf „East To The West“ präsentiert BAZIL jetzt 15 brandneue Songs, die sich trotz streng digitalen Fundaments enorm melodisch und abwechslungsreich zeigen und ihn vor allem als versierten und beseelten Sing-Jay in Hochform zeigen. Neben seinen eigenen Tracks unterstützten ihn MANUDIGITAL, TAMBOUR BATTANT, S. O.A. P. und BOST mit schneidigen Beats.
Es fasziniert, wie gekonnt der junge Franzose ein topmodernes und urbanes Sounddesign mit den farbenfrohen Melodien und Stimmungen des traditionellen Reggaes verbindet. „East To The West“ ist ein sehr abwechslungsreiches, rhythmusbetontes und positiv stimmendes Album.
