Claire Diterzi cultive depuis plus de 20 ans une démarche éminemment transmusicale. L’an dernier, Le Monde la désignait d’ailleurs comme la « pionnière » parmi tous les musiciens qui s’emploient aujourd’hui à «casser le mur du son» et à frotter leur musique aux autres arts de la scène. Ce 8ème album est ainsi un nouvel objet sonore (et scénique) non identifié : les 12 chansons qui composent L’arbre en poche forment en effet la bande son du spectacle éponyme, qu’elle a écrit et mis en scène. Un spectacle dont le propos est avant tout un manifeste contre les ravages que l’homme inflige à son environnement. Entre concept album et tragi-comédie, Claire Diterzi confie pour la première fois certaines de ses compositions à la voix d’un autre, le contre-ténor Serge Kakudji.
