Nils is one of the foremost artists in the Smooth Jazz genre. His catalog of albums includes 10 studio releases and 1 Best Of Nils release. He has had numerous #1 and top 10 singles on the Billboard Smooth Jazz Chart including 3 #1 singles from his last album "Caught In The Groove" (BCD-560). That album was also #1 on the smooth jazz album chart for an unprecedented 1 year! Nils new release "Cool Shades" sounds like another big hit for him. Nils' powerhouse ensemble of longtime musicians shine through on every track of Cool Shades, and his producing and composing skills make this collection of songs another must have smooth jazz album.

Billboard declared Nils the #1 Smooth Jazz Airplay Artist for all of 2021 on the strength of four hit singles from his last album Caught In The Groove. In addition to the #1 hits "Outta Sight" and the title track, his last album included "Above The Clouds" (#3) and Top 10 track "I Like the Way You Do It." Nils also scored big in 2020 as producer and co-writer of Lisa Addeo's #1 smash "Listen To This."

Now back with his new album Cool Shades, Nils has again produced and written a slew of potential hits, including the first single "Nine 2 Five."
