Burroughs. Musically, it touched many bases, from late night jazz to rock 'n' roll, via film noir, beat poetry, cool instros and unashamed novelty material. This eclectic compilation covers all these and more, making this perhaps the perfect soundtrack to an imaginary 'Beat Generation' documentary.
