Raanan Amir, creator and leader of 'Drimia', recounts: “Drimia was created out of a desire to capture the unique moments in time, when a certain emotion arises and with it comes the need to preserve it. Moments of love, friendship, closeness, observation, scenery. laughter, passion, pain, longing, hovering, dreaming. Sometimes music can capture all of these in a more benevolent manner; it gives the listener space to feel his own interpretation. The album was four years in the making, from the first demos to the final touches; It ripened in its own time. It reflects significant periods in my life, the experiences I've been through, and the person that I came to be.

I'm happy that I was able to bring the changes that I've undergone into the creative process, to maintain aliveness, relevance and constant change. With the help of my band members, my friends, I open a window into my soul and invite you in for a journey. Welcome.”
