Kanka is a French dub producer and multi-instrumentalist player: he plays drums, percussions, keyboard, bass, and machines. He began his musical career in 1997 by integrating the reggae band King Riddim. With this band, he releases an album in year 2000. Then he promotes the album and participates to 200 concerts everywhere in France. It has been the occasion to meet bands such as The Gladiators, Pablo Moses, Horace Andy, Anthony B, tyken jah fakoly, Alpha Blondy, Max Romeo, Burning Spear…
In parallel to the band, Kanka decides to play dub music. To become dub producer.
In year 2003, he releases a first album, Every Night’s Dub. This album is a self production and will never be distributed on a large scale. This one marks however an interesting collaboration with the vocalist Mc Olivia (from the Blackboard Jungle Sound System). The album especially enables him to take part in many compilation in France and Europe.
