This collection of songs represents a phase of a human journey during uncertain times. The songs are loosely based in reality with elements of actual events and places cast over an alternate and more cryptic reality. The songs fit loosely together like a puzzle with just a few pieces uncomfortably missing. Recorded in one day, the songs have a live quality complete with the imperfections that distance them from a more defined realization which grants the songs a rough character throughout the roughly 40 minute run time. The mood changes from an almost 50's nostalgia with 'Falling Down Over You' to a dark drunken nightmare with 'My Girl Don't Tell Me'. More straightforward country songs are here too, with '2 Drunken Strangers' being a sketch of a Cut Bank, Montana evening and 'The Traveler' echoing the songs of early country crooners.
