Album published to mark the sixtieth anniversary of the establishment of the Orquesta Aragón. The band was definitely the most famous charanga in Cuba during the 50s and 60s. Resumed the career during the '90s, then was touring Europe in 1997 and refreshed the repertoire. This album, recorded between March and April 1999 in Cuba, achieves a great balance between the classical repertoire of Aragón, Cuban classics and the latest music. It features presentations by distinguished guest artists as Cuban singer Omara Portuondo, the Puerto Rican salsa singer Cheo Feliciano or Congolese Papa Wemba, along with others like Felo Bacallao, Pablo Santamaria, Pancho Amat or Juan Verdera. This is the rebirth of eternal charanga Orquesta Aragon, performing rhythms of Cuban air like son, guaracha, danzón, bolero and rumba.Track list:
