Originally recorded in 1993 for the Adler Planetarium in Chicago, African Skies stands as one of the few official releases outside of Cohran’s seminal work in the 1960s with The Sun Ra Arkestra and The Artistic Heritage Ensemble.

This live album features a concert by Jethro Tull on March 16, 1985 in Berlin as one of the main events of the "300th Anniversary of the Birth of J.S. Bach" event. This is the only Jethro Tull concert of the year, as he had not toured since he had not released any albums during this period. The concert is the only one from that year, and features a special guest appearance by Eddie Jobson, formerly of U.K., who participated in the 1980 album "A" and also toured with Jethro Tull. The concert was recorded and broadcast by the German TV station WDR. This is a live album from the sound sources used for the broadcast, and includes the complete concert including cover numbers and Bach pieces. The five members are Ian Anderson and his friend Martin Barr, drummer Dawn Perry, who was with the band from 1984 until the band stopped playing, Dave Pegg, who has been with Jethro Tull the longest on bass, and guest player Eddie Jobson, formerly of Carved Air - U.K. Eddie Jobson. Over the last few years, Amanda Favier and Élodie Soulard have formed an original tandem that shakes things up. In "Monadology, XXXVI, 'Chopin': 12 Études", composer Bernhard Lang transforms Chopin's famous Études Op. 10 into a radical 'meta-composition'. The Austrian composer dissects the original scores and reconstructs them as new sound structures. This piece is part of Lang's monumental 'Monadology' series (more than forty compositions, 2007–2020), in which existing music, ranging from Chopin to Mozart and Ligeti, is deconstructed and rewritten as self-reflective musical texts.

The musical lineup consists of pianist Steve Hunt, bassist Christian Fabian, and vocalist Lewis Robinson. Pianist Steve Hunt, who refined his lightning-fast technique under the tutelage of Albert Hirsh, Sid Davis, and Lyle Mays, has performed and recorded with Stanley Clarke and Allan Holdsworth and has toured globally. Bassist Christian Fabian, a Berklee alumnus who studied with Mike Longo and Ron Carter, co-leads The Lionel Hampton Big Band, accepted the Grammy® Lifetime Achievement Award for Hamp in 2021, and recently became a Grammy® Nominee himself following a sold-out show at the North Sea Jazz Festival. Vocalist Lewis Robinson is an award-winning singer-songwriter with a 30-year international touring career. He teaches vocal and stage performance, performs lead vocals with his own band covering jazz favorites, R&B, and original compositions, and has a commercial background in radio and television.

Grammy Award nominee Ernie Haase and Signature Sound bring A Jazzy Little Christmas to Birdland on Monday, December 2 at 7:00 PM. With true, four-part harmony and a three-piece jazz band, the live show is reminiscent of the sounds of The Four Freshmen with the jazz of Tony Bennett.

In 2017 I wrote Autumn Rain, and for the first time in years I felt that I could ask musicians to try things out with me. I knew Terje and Tine from before, and I had a feeling that they could contribute to develop my songs and the sound of the new trio. What I didn´t know was that they knew each other very well and had played together for years! Both said yes, and we started to rehearse together in 2019.

Curandero is the debut collaborative album by pioneering ambient electronic artist Steve Roach and acclaimed throat singer and ritual artist SoRIAH. The album, which the artists describe as "sonic shamanism" and "immersive ritual music," explores the frontiers between the known, the exotic, fear, and freedom. Roach, an originator of the tribal ambient genre, resides in Baja Arizona, drawing inspiration from the ancestral land of the curanderos (indigenous healers). SoRIAH, deeply devoted to Tuvan throat singing (Khöömei), traveled to the same region (the ancient motherland of Aztlán) for the collaboration. The music, which SoRIAH describes as "deep shadow work" on the cusp of healing and shamanic exorcism, and Roach calls a "portal" between worlds, blends interwoven trance rhythms, hallucinatory atmospheres, and harmonic vocal overtones. Recording and mixing took place in studios across Baja Arizona, Oregon, and Mongolia.
