    "The Perpetual Motion" is easily one of the best albums I've heard this year! The Old Dead Tree is the name of this tremendously gifted outfit. This 2005 effort is a conceptual album taking the listener through various moods and metal styles. For instance: "Unrelenting" mixes gothic rock with death metal & doom, "1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8" is an upbeat progressive/gothic metal tune, "My Friends" has a heavy & speed metal feel

    The band name Mortal Love and a glance at the melancholic cover art work tell you that you are holding a gothic metal CD with female vocals in your hands. This new band from Norway really doesn't bring anything new into this music, but they play their thing nevertheless at a very high level. If you have to compare them, I only can think of Scanner from Germany or Pale Forest from Norway.

    After the suggestion by Nagiants39 (for Presidente), here is a fine example of an old keyboard player who, although releasing solo material with a classical flavor all these years, still enjoys a decent blues - rock all-night session with a competent group of Aussies.

    День Защитника Отечества 23 февраля был установлен в 1919 году как День Красной армии.
    Дата для этого праздника выбрана в честь побед Красной армии над войсками Германии в 1918 году под Псковом и Нарвой. После переименования Красной армии в Советскую изменилось и название праздника — он стал Днем Советской армии и Военно-морского флота. В настоящее время в России отмечается как День защитника Отечества. С 2002 года по решению Государственной думы СФ РФ 23 февраля является нерабочим днем.
    Также День Защитника Отечества отмечается в Украине и Беларуси.
