Legendary singer Graham Bonnet and ANTHEM team up for a short noticed studio jam to record 8 tracks which include a collection of hits from both of their catalogues.

The legendary singer Graham Bonnet who has been active in rainbow and Alcatrus and the authentic heavy metal band ANTHEM that Japan is proud of are united here. Graham agrees with the invitation of ANTHEM leader Naoto Shibata to “record like a jam session.” But it’s easy to say and hard to do. It is commonplace that the hurdles to reach realization are high. What I could easily overcome was the work of friendship for more than 20 years. Only if there is a lot of trust between them. Thus the emergency session was fulfilled.

“Gypsy Ways (WIN, LOSE OR DRAW)” recorded in “HEAVY METAL ANTHEM” (Graham participation) released in 2000, “Since You Been Gone” recorded in Rainbow’s “Down to Earth”, Michael Schenker Group “Desert Song” recorded in “Assault Attack”, “Night Games / Night Games in loneliness” recorded by Graham’s solo “LINE UP”, and all 8 luxury songs composed of representative songs of ANTHEM and Graham.

The album title “EXPLOSIVE!! -studio jam-” describes the first-class explosive studio jam sessions. The name represents the body. Recording each other’s tension and relaxation, trust and respect, heart and skill chemistry. Even if you start playing, you can’t hide the serious mode if you hear the sound. Even though he is serious, he never forgets the playfulness of a veteran. This work is nothing but EXPLOSIVE!!

By the way, Naoto Shibata chose the ballad “The Witchwood” from Alcatraz’s “Dangerous Games”. Graham stood in front of Mike, grinning and laughing even when he chose this song that he liked. And rock fans all over the world are listening to Graham Bonnet and their delightful vocals.
