This 20th anniversary reissue was remastered at Metropolis Studios in London and includes B-sides and seven unreleased demos recorded in 2002. The liner notes, written by Pete Paphides, include contributions from a new interview with Katie.

Katie Melua's debut album, Call Off The Search, immediately made her a new standout talent. The album, which celebrates its 20th anniversary this year, showcases her unique vocal style that blends jazz, blues and folk influences with contemporary pop sensibilities. The album was co-written and produced by Mike Batt, who played a central role in developing the album's gorgeous and sophisticated sound
