    Il ne lui faut cette fois-ci que deux ans pour écrire un nouvel Album. "Obok", du nom d'une ville de la république de Djibouti où vécut Rimbaud, sort en avril 2006. Cet opus rassemble neuf titres dont l'écriture plutôt réaliste se démarque de ce qu'il proposait précédemment : "Fauvette" la jeune fille perdue, "l'enfant soldat" dans l'Afrique en guerre ou encore "Veux-tu"… La musique quant à elle, sur une base rock, donne à entendre des mélodies envoûtantes, portant sa voix toujours tendue et presque distante.

    Осмелюсь предложить на Ваш просмотр и суд очередной (второй по счёту и в её творчестве) клип. Имя девушки Настя. Сьемка. идеи, монтаж всё сделано самостоятельно без вмешательства кого-либо постороннего как и другие её работы, что меня и восхищает. Даже её родители случайно нашли на компе этот 2 и 1(к сожалению утрачен) клип спустя примерно год после монтажа. Прошу обратить внимание именно на сьемки и сведение(как обычно бывает "сапожник без сапог" т.е. камеры-то в семье у них нет(приносные так сказать)). Будьте добры оставьте свое мнение и предложения.     As Yanni compilations go (and this is his eighth, the fifth churned out by his former record company in a three-year period), this is a well-conceived package, commendable for its focus and continuity of style. It is, basically, music for bubble baths, a bouquet of warm, piano-based sweet nothings. Love Songs takes nine of its 12 gentle selections from two of Yanni's quieter releases, Dare to Dream and the hushed piano intimacy of In My Time, and its stately, neoclassical romanticism is more reminiscent of David Lanz than the ballad-like pop of Jim Brickman. For listeners in search of a non-jarring audio element to add to your evening of candlelight and massage oil, this is a worthy selection. If this strikes your fancy, seek out an overlooked 1984 solo piano gem from David Lanz, Nightfall.

    The comparisons to Tori Amos or Bjork or Kate Bush or Fiona Apple (or Laura Nyro or Joni Mitchell to go back a ways) are more points of reference to give us some bearing regarding Regina Spektor's eccentric and original Soviet Kitsch. Hey, she's a chick with a piano and a quirky sense of timing and a refreshing lyrical oddness. Aren't they all the same, then? Well, no. Spektor's take on the singer-songwriter trope certainly includes those forebears, but she's also steeped in punk history, wherein she quotes Patti Smith on "Poor Little Rich Boy", and isn't afraid of squawking dissonance. Which makes the unadulterated beauty all the sweeter – especially on the manic Us and the expressive Someday, either of which the above-mentioned women would love to have in their own canons.
