Recorded in 2003 at the Running Horse in Nottingham, this live disc confirms what we already have good to say about Ian Siegal.
Although this is a totally acoustic performance and solitary, this English blues can offer a supply and a disc that rule, without much loss of tension: there are here in a more distinct, as otherwise it could be, his ability on guitar acoustic and voice.

Rued Langgaard composed in a late Romantic style, emphatically dramatic and endowed with colossal mood swings. A great complex of works. A huge cycle of symphonies. Some of these pieces are truly great, some exhibit pure genius, some are unlistenable, some are just plain banal. Yet somehow I feel that this man has to be accommodated into the Pantheon of Western composers.
