"Between 1972 and 1982 Maazel was Music Director of The Cleveland Orchestra and between 1973-79 made a series of recordings for Decca – all of which are collected here. The repertory includes many orchestral spectaculars and Decca’s first recording in Cleveland, Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet, is one of the very best and a recording which has achieved reference status. “…. The precision of The Cleveland Orchestra is little short of miraculous… the recording is one of Decca’s most spectacular, searingly detailed but atmospheric too.” [The Penguin Guide]

James Gang was a band from Cleveland, Ohio who, at the time, consisted of Joe Walsh, Dale Peters, and Jim Fox. James Gang Rides Over Fillmore was recorded on 21 November, 1970 in San Francisco, California at the Fillmore West after the release of the trio's second album, James Gang Rides Again. The bootleg has been listed as a soundboard recording but sounds unmixed. Nonetheless, a great way to hear the band in 1970. The Godfatherecords released this in 2013.

Genre: jazz

Live! is the 1975 album by Jim Hall. Originally released by Horizon/A&M, this is taken from a CD remaster by Verve Music Group released on 25 March, 2003.
This fine club date features guitarist Jim Hall in Toronto with two of the top Canadian jazzmen, bassist Don Thompson and drummer Terry Clarke. The interplay between the three players is sometimes wondrous, and although the five selections are all familiar standards (such as "'Round Midnight," "Scrapple From the Apple" and "The Way You Look Tonight"), Hall makes the music sound fresh and full of subtleties. This enjoyable LP has yet to be reissued on CD.
