The DVD has a wonderfully three-dimensional Dolby-Digital 5.1 sound mix that brings the Salzburg Cathedral ambience alive, and a stunningly detailed and clear anamorphically enhanced picture. Documentation is minimal; no texts, subtitles, or information about either Von Karajan or Rachel Harnisch is given. There is only one special feature, which is not documented on the disc: by default the disc offers a standard multi-camera view, but at a press of the Angle button it switches to a second set of cameras focused entirely on Abbado.

The Left Banke was a 1960s American pop-music group best remembered for its two hit singles, "Walk Away Renée" and "Pretty Ballerina". The band often utilized what was referred to as "baroque" string arrangements, which led its music to be termed "Bach-rock". However, the state of Texas also claims their bastard acid-fueled stepchildren, the Butthole Surfers. Fronted by the enigmatic Gibby Haynes and guitar genius Paul Leary, the band often finds truly unique ways to blend almost any genre conceivable into their records. They also find ways to mix a trademark, creepy humor into their recordings. They're a band that can't really be summed up in one paragraph, and for good reason. They were one of the most innovative bands of the '80's and '90's, and still fail to sound dated today.
