Silva Screen Records present earlier composers who were masters of music on Hitchcock films, and later films with Bernard Herrmann on the second CD. The "CONCERTO FOR ORCHESTRA" is Miklos Rozsa's haunting theme which lasts over nine minutes is something from heaven. "STRANGERS ON THE TRAIN" the Dimitri Tiomkin contribution is also an outstanding track which can move the unmoveable with the heart-racing pounding sounds that the two composers generate. Both composers Rozsa and Tiomkin have a list of accomplishments a mile long, but to hear their music on a Hitchcock film is pure geneious in film making and scoring.

Limited-edition five-CD set from Film Score Monthly of the Oscar-winning score for the 1959 film starring Charlton Heston, Jack Hawkins, and Stephen Boyd. Discs 1 and 2 feature every film cue, every outtake, every alternate, and every additional take preserved by the studio, mastered from the original six-track recordings, augmented by rare material from the Miklos Rozsa collection at Syracuse University. In addition the set contains all three LP recordings released by MGM Records in conjunction with the film–including the premiere CD release of the rare (and controversial) Lion label disc. Disc 3 features the Savina album (conducted by Carlo Savina) and Act 1 alternates. Disc 4 features the first Kloss album (conducted by Erich Kloss) and Act 2 alternates.
