"Bootlegs" is a compilation of material that was "written before and after 'Cool From the Wire' and 'Turn of the Screw'." As with those two albums, the material on this disc is excellent and surprisingly well recorded, considering that this disc was produced without the help of Max Norman. Very impressive songs with the late Henrik Ostergaard on vocals. As always great hooks with crunchy riffs that will get your head shakin' and your feet stompin'. "Bootlegs" was released in 1991 and is now almost impossible to find.

Girl on Fire is the fifth studio album by American recording artist Alicia Keys. The album, which was released on November 22, 2012, is Keys' first release with RCA Records following Sony Music Entertainment's decision to close J Records during a company reshuffle. Girl on Fire was conceived shortly after Keys' marriage to record producer and rapper Swizz Beatz as well as the birth of her first child, Egypt. It is an R&B album with a mixture of conventional genre songs and piano ballads, some of which touch on Keys' marriage and motherhood.

Flesh Tone is the fifth studio album by American singer-songwriter Kelis, released on May 14, 2010 by Interscope Records. Recorded while the singer was an unsigned artist and while pregnant with her first child, the record is an ode to motherhood and is a distinct departure from the R&B sound of her previous albums. The album features production from David Guetta, Boys Noize, Jean Baptiste, and Benny Benassi, amongst others.

Kaleidoscope is the debut studio album by American singer-songwriter Kelis, released on December 7, 1999 by Virgin Records. It was produced by The Neptunes. Despite underperforming in Kelis' home country, the album saw mild success in certain international markets, including the United Kingdom, where it charted at number 43 and was certified gold.

Faraway So Close is a trio offering from pianist Guillaume de Chassy, whose previous recording, Piano Solo (Bee Jazz, 2007), was completely engrossing in its trenchant beauty. This album projects the same depth, sincerity and directness of communication as the former one, but in a trio setting. Music is mysterious in the manner in which its affects are felt. The piano, with its mechanical action, adds a further layer to the puzzle, as Jon Balke made clear on Book of Velocities (ECM, 2008). De Chassy's keyboard touch is remarkable for its liquid clarity and supports his seeming endless supply of ideas, both melodic and harmonic.

The Who's catalog was revamped in the mid-'90s, with every title (except My Generation, due to legal entanglements with producer Shel Talmy) receiving new remastering and bonus tracks. Nearly eight years later, Who's Next, one of the group's most beloved albums, was given another remastered/expanded treatment as part of Universal Chronicles' Deluxe Edition series. Now it spans two discs, including a full disc devoted to their legendary show at the Young Vic on April 26, 1971. Reportedly, this is also the first time the original master tapes were used for a CD master as well, and while the difference isn't as dramatically different as it was from the 1984 CD to the 1995 CD, this is a richer, resonant mix, which may be reason enough for some fans to acquire it.

Tasty is the third studio album by American singer Kelis, released on December 5, 2003 by Star Trak Entertainment and Arista Records. As executive producer, Kelis enlisted previous collaborators The Neptunes to produce the album, as well as new collaborators such as Raphael Saadiq, Dallas Austin, André 3000, Rockwilder, and Dame Blackmon "Grease". It also features guest vocals from Saadiq, André 3000, and then-boyfriend Nas.

"Livin' My Dream" is the second album of Bai Bang after they're back again in 2009 and sixth album to date since 1988. As helpfully pointed out in the title, Chapter V: Unbent, Unbowed, Unbroken sees Swedish metal institution Hammerfall hoisting aloft the torch of power metal (unbent, unbowed, etc.) for the fifth full-studio album of their career. But "power" metal may no longer the best tag with which to describe the band, whose material here ("Blood Bound," "Fury of the Wild," "Born to Rule," etc.) is really better described as classic, vintage, or better yet, timeless heavy metal, if you will…
