The album version that was discovered was known as the 'East 1st Street Piano Tapes' version. The reason why I thought I'd give this a chance was because I love instrumental and acoustic versions of songs quite a lot. Instrumental and acoustic obviously mean different things in this context. The instrumental version of a song still retains the core elements of the song that make it what it is, whereas, acoustic songs allow for stripping down of the electronic noises, to leave vanilla audio and vocal. Notable examples and some of my favourite acoustic songs include Swedish House Mafia's version of 'Don't You Worry Child', Sigma and Rita Ora's 'Coming Home', Kygo and Parson James' acoustic cover of 'Stole The Show', and Jess Glynne's acoustic version of 'My Love'.
