Best of Both Worlds is a two-disc compilation album by British neo-progressive rock band Marillion released in 1997 by EMI Records, who the band had been signed to from their debut in 1982 until being dropped in 1995. The title refers to Marillion's two distinct "eras" with lead singers Fish (1980—1988) and Steve Hogarth (since 1989). By the time this compilation was released, both line-ups had recorded four studio albums each. The second best-of since the 14-track one-disc compilation A Singles Collection (known as Six of One, Half a Dozen of the Other in the US) from 1992, this one additionally contains material from Brave (1994) and Afraid of Sunlight (1996).

Twins are back! After success of the first LP "The Passion Factory" with the internationally ranked single "The Desert Place", the twins, Sven Dohrow and Ronny Schreinzer immediately to work for their 2nd album "Modern Lifestyle" (1982), to further develop the emerging success that made. Early in 1983 the twins flew then for the first time to television shows in foreign countries and achieved a big breakthrough after three appearances in the Italian television there. The single "Face to face, heart to heart" came right off the bat in the Italian top ten and remained there for several months. Tony Campanyá aka Uranus was born in Barcelona in 1973, being in love with the music at a very early age thanks to the influence of his grandparents (musicians). Having finished classical piano and electric keyboards studies, he studied in the Barselona Jazz School too. His professional debut was as composer of TV spots, short movies and documentary soundtracks, becoming arranger and musician for some different studios. Thanks to the support of some wellknown musicians and producers, specially Mike Platinas, his first productions were released in some compilations, such as, "Cassagrande Ethnica" and "Spanish ChillAmbient".
