Tor Talle hails from Norway. And like many from that fair land, has an abundance of melody flowing through his veins. A talented musician, he has managed to concoct a beautiful selection of tunes that traverses a fine line between AOR and West Coast. If that middle-ground suits your taste-buds then read on! The lineup of guests is impressive. Which makes the resulting songs all the more interesting because the style changes with the singer.

The AIDS charity concert staged by the surviving members of Queen on April 20, 1992, at Wembley Stadium was an appropriate send-off for the band's late lead singer, Freddie Mercury, who had succumbed to the disease five months earlier. The flamboyant Mercury was always in his element before gigantic crowds like the one that filled Wembley one last time, and his stand-ins for the occasion – Gary Cherone (then of Extreme), Roger Daltrey, Joe Elliott (Def Leppard), James Hetfield (Metallica), Elton John, Annie Lennox, George Michael, Liza Minnelli, Robert Plant, Axl Rose (Guns N' Roses), Seal, Lisa Stansfield, Paul Young, and Zucchero…

At the end of 1994, Marc's fifth and final solo album appeared. It was called "Talk To Strangers". Marc had tried to sell the album to major record companies for about two years, but no-one was interested. Finally it was picked up by the independent Roadshow label for release. The first single from it was "Get So Rough"/"Song Of New Devotion" and this was followed by "One Of The Good Guys"/"Desires Of The Heart". The album also included a song called "Spellbound", which Marc found on a piece of tape with him and Paul Hewson messing around in the early eighties. Marc completed Paul's song by adding a middle eight and some words.

Lava needs no introduction. Rhythm of Love is considered to be one of their best albums ever. The album stayed 6 weeks at the "VG lista" in Norway, 6th place. Eythor Gunnarsson from Mezzoforte was also featured as a keyboard player. Fantastic westcoast inspired pop. Highly recommended.

The highly anticipated new album, “Gothica”, from TEN promises to be one of their strongest collection of songs to date. It is full of all the trademark textures and flavours we have come to expect from TEN, arguably one of the best and most consistent melodic hard rock bands in the genre. “Gothica” renews TEN’s longstanding association with the Frontiers label and proudly displays all the hallmarks of classic TEN albums and will surely continue to build upon the rich legacy that the great British rockers have forged over a career spanning 22 years and counting. “Gothica” emerges as their darkest album to date. Embracing history, romance and erotic horror in equal measure as it does, the title proves to be a fitting name.

ALL 41 is not just another project born of Frontiers’ President Serafino Perugino’s imaginative A&R mind, but is a project very close to the hearts of each musician involved. With none other than the amazing Terry Brock on lead vocals (Giant, Strangeways), Robert Berry (Three, Alliance) on bass and lead vocals, Gary Pihl (Boston, Sammy Hagar, Alliance) on guitar, and Matt Starr (Ace Frehley, Mr Big) on drums, All 41 is a project born of passion and fire. Musically, these guys gel incredibly well and have come up with a superb debut album which mixes Mr Big’s most melodic moments together with the more keyboard-laden years of Van Halen along with obvious nods to Strangeways and Alliance…

Phenomena is a rock concept around a supergroup formed by record producer Tom Galley, Metalhammer magazine founder Wilfried Rimensberger and Tom's brother, Whitesnake guitarist Mel Galley. Contributors were leading rock musicians such as Glenn Hughes, Brian May, Tony Martin and John Wetton amongst others. In a cover story, run by Kerrang! magazine in 1985, Phenomena's production of rock songs based on a story line running through a whole album, attached to artworks and other multi-media aspects was credited for the "return of the concept album" in the 1980s. Phenomena released three albums in the 1980s and early 1990s…
