Film, television, and video game music composer Daniel Pemberton got his start in avant-garde and ambient electronic music, influenced as a teenager by statuesque electronic artists such as Jean Michel Jarre, Tomita, and Vangelis. Pemberton began collecting keyboard gear from an early age and wrote a tips column for a video game magazine to earn enough money for increasingly high-end equipment. He also began recording his own compositions, and passed a tape on to Mixmaster Morris at one of his gigs. When word (as well as additional tapes) continued to spread, Pemberton recorded his debut album, Bedroom, which gained release in late 1994 for Pete Namlook's highly collectible Fax Records.

Sandie Shaw was one of the most successful British female singers of the 1960s, forever famous for winning the Eurovision Song Contest in 1967 with "Puppet On A String". She dominated the UK charts with a flood of pop hits during the late 1960s - including three number one singles.
But on her last album of the '60s, Shaw proved that she was hipper than a lot of people would have suspected. Moving away from the usual light pop and MOR, she chose a set of covers heavy on material by the likes of The Beatles, Bob Dylan, the Lovin' Spoonful, Dr. John, Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin, Donovan and the Bee Gees. Her sensual voice and a strong backing band, featuring Ian Wallace of King Crimson on drums, gives these classic tunes a new lease of life.

Amy is an original motion picture soundtrack to the 2015 film of the same name. It was released by Island Records on 30 October 2015. The soundtrack features music by composer Antonio Pinto that was used in the documentary as well as tracks by singer-songwriter Amy Winehouse, the subject of the film. The soundtrack peaked at number 19 on the UK Album Chart on the week of 2 November.
The twenty-three track album features alternative versions of Winehouse's well-known tracks "Tears Dry On Their Own", "Back To Black" and "Love Is A Losing Game"; recordings of "Stronger Than Me", "What Is It About Men", "We're Still Friends" and "Rehab" from rare live sessions; demos tracks "Some Unholy War" and "Like Smoke"; a cover of The Zutons' "Valerie" performed by Winehouse and Mark Ronson; and a version of "Body and Soul"…
