Carey Bell is an effective and surprisingly versatile singer but it is his powerful harmonica that really stands out. One of the last of the major Chicago blues harpists, Bell (an alumnus of the Muddy Waters and Willie Dixon bands) had led his own groups for most of the previous 30 years when he came out with this disc. His longtime guitarist Steve Jacobs offers some concise and stinging comments but the leader is virtually the whole show on his CD, which finds him leading a tight six-piece group. Nothing too unusual occurs but the music definitely has plenty of spirit.

In 1961, Dave Brubeck put together a remarkable musical show. Using the talents of Louis Armstrong and his All-Stars, Carmen McRae, the innovative bop vocal group Lambert, Hendricks And Ross, and his own rhythm section, Brubeck and his wife, lyricist Iola, wrote a largely upbeat play full of anti-racism songs and tunes that celebrated human understanding. Although it had only one live performance (at the 1962 Monterey Jazz Festival), The Real Ambassadors was recorded for posterity and now, with its reissue on CD, the original 15 selections have been augmented by five more. It is important to listen to this music without prior expectations because Paul Desmond is nowhere to be found, Louis Armstrong does not play that much trumpet here, and Lambert, Hendricks And Ross essentially function as background singers. However Satch and Carmen McRae make for a very potent team, and there are many touching and surprising moments.

Valleys of Neptune is a posthumous compilation album by the American rock musician Jimi Hendrix. Released in the United States on March 9, 2010, the album was promoted as having "12 previously unreleased studio recordings", including the title track, "one of the most sought after of all of Hendrix's commercially unavailable recordings". The tracks on Valleys of Neptune were largely self-produced by Hendrix, and received extra posthumous production from Janie Hendrix, Eddie Kramer and John McDermott. Recorded mostly in 1969 following the release of Electric Ladyland, the album predominantly features the original line-up of the Jimi Hendrix Experience: vocalist and guitarist Hendrix, bass guitarist Noel Redding and drummer Mitch Mitchell. The lead single released from the album was "Valleys of Neptune", on February 1, 2010, followed by "Bleeding Heart" on March 1; music videos were produced for both songs.

Remarkably self-contained and sounding somewhat atypical for a King Crimson album - even by the standards of a band that rarely sounded similar from album to album, Lizard is an often overlooked and under-appreciated gem from their early years. Lizard featured a lighter, more delicate sound than the earlier albums - an approach perhaps necessitated by an extended instrumental lineup. 20th Century Masters – The Millennium Collection: The Best of Eric Clapton is a compilation album by the British rock musician Eric Clapton. It was released on 15 June 2004, by Polydor Records and is part of Universal's 20th Century Masters – The Millennium Collection series. The compilation album has eleven tracks that Clapton recorded in the 1970s both as a solo artist and with Derek and the Dominos. Glyn Johns produced the album in association with Tom Dowd. Although the release sold 1,366,610 copies in the United States, it has not been certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

The Best of The Velvet Underground: The Millennium Collection is a compilation album by The Velvet Underground. It was initially released for the North American market by Polydor in October 2000 as part of their "20th Century Masters" series of budget compilations celebrating the turn of the century.

This Trapeze classic has been expanded with two bonus discs, packed with extras. It kicks off with a stereo edit and then a mono edit of the ‘Black Cloud’ single, followed by radio session versions of ‘Makes You Wanna Cry’ and ‘Medusa’. Disc Two finishes with an unreleased live show from the United States in March 1971. Disc Three features a second complete unreleased show from 1971, featuring all but two tracks from the “Medusa” LP.

"Preludio, tema, variazioni, canzona", also known as "Milano Calibro 9", is Osanna's second studio album and was released in 1972 on the Fonit Cetra label. It marks the collaboration between the band and Argentine-Italian film composer Luis Enriquez Bacalov (who had previously worked with the New Trolls) and was conceived as the score for the film "Milano Calibro 9". Director Fernando Di Leo was very impressed by the album "Concerto Grosso per i New Trolls" and asked Luis Bacalov to compose the soundtrack for his film "Milano Calibro 9" in the same style. Osanna were chosen to perform the score interacting with an orchestra and, according to an interview with Lino Vairetti, they recorded the music while watching the film on a screen in a theatre and for them this was really a new exciting experience…

This live album features a concert by Jethro Tull on March 16, 1985 in Berlin as one of the main events of the "300th Anniversary of the Birth of J.S. Bach" event. This is the only Jethro Tull concert of the year, as he had not toured since he had not released any albums during this period. The concert is the only one from that year, and features a special guest appearance by Eddie Jobson, formerly of U.K., who participated in the 1980 album "A" and also toured with Jethro Tull. The concert was recorded and broadcast by the German TV station WDR. This is a live album from the sound sources used for the broadcast, and includes the complete concert including cover numbers and Bach pieces. The five members are Ian Anderson and his friend Martin Barr, drummer Dawn Perry, who was with the band from 1984 until the band stopped playing, Dave Pegg, who has been with Jethro Tull the longest on bass, and guest player Eddie Jobson, formerly of Carved Air - U.K. Eddie Jobson. Eddie Jobson plays a gorgeous violin solo on a Bach piece.This is a special concert with a different set list from the "A Tour" held in 1980, and is now available on CD! Who Are You is the eighth studio album by the English rock band the Who, released on 18 August 1978 by Polydor Records in the United Kingdom and on 21 August 1978 by MCA Records in the United States. Although the album received mixed reviews from critics, it was a commercial success, peaking at number 2 on the US Billboard 200 chart and number 6 on the UK Albums Chart. Who Are You was the Who's final studio album to feature Keith Moon as their drummer. He died three weeks after it was released. The uncannily coincidental nature of the text "Not to Be Taken Away" that was stenciled on Moon's chair on the album cover was noted by some critics. On 31 October 2025, a 7CD & 1 Blu-Ray disc boxed set was released which includes unreleased Glyn Johns mixes and rehearsals, the original stereo mixes plus new stereo, Dolby Atmos and 5.1 mixes by Steven Wilson. A separate, standalone, limited edition release by Superdeluxe Edition on blu-ray also includes the original and Steven Wilson mixes plus instrumental mixes also by Steven.

Unfolding slowly over the course of an hour, Wireless, as its name suggests, utilizes radio waves in combination with treated electronics, with results closer in feel to electro-acoustic experimentalists such as Carl Stone and Morton Subotnick than the warm, often more active ambient the Fax label is known for.

Everybody Scream is the sixth studio album by English indie rock band Florence and the Machine, released on 31 October 2025 through Polydor and Republic Records. It is their first album in three years, following their 2022 album Dance Fever. The album, which follows on from 2022's Dance Fever, was created during and inspired by a time of healing and discovering the body's limits for Welch, who underwent life-saving surgery during 2023's Dance Fever Tour. Because of this, Welch told Zane Lowe during an interview that she feels Everybody Scream is her most personal Florence and the Machine album to date. She also mentioned the project's title coming from the idea of celebratory screaming and her exploration of why people would be screaming and the emotions and reasons associated with such a physical and emotional act.
