Here You Are: The Best Of Billy Ocean is a new 2CD unique collection from original King Of Soul, packaged with a career spanning celebration of one of Britain’s biggest stars. Billy is a Grammy award winner with worldwide sales of over 30 million. He hit the number one spot across three continents in the 70s and 80s, counting no fewer than six UK top 10 singles. ‘Caribbean Queen’ stormed to number one on both the US singles chart and US R&B chart, and is amongst Billy’s six US top 10 singles. It's an all-star blues extravaganza as legendary guitarist B.B. King brings a whole host of popular performers to the stage for a magical night of music captured live at the Ebony Showcase Theater on April 15, 1987. In addition to such classics as "The Thrill Is Gone" and "In the Midnight Hour", King is joined by such talented contemporaries as Eric Clapton, Etta James, Dr. John, Phil Collins, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Albert King, Billy Ocean, and Chaka Kahn in performing nine more songs including "Ain't Nobody's Business", "The Sky Is Crying", and "Let the Good Times Roll".

Part of an extensive line of budget compilations from Sony, this Billy Ocean volume includes the singer's three number one pop hits – "Caribbean Queen (No More Love on the Run)," "There'll Be Sad Songs (To Make You Cry)," and "Get Outta My Dreams, Get into My Car" – as well as seven other significant songs from his '80s albums for Epic and Jive. It's not particularly in-depth – it's certainly not as thorough as 2004's Ultimate Collection – but it does feature most of Ocean's big hits, which also include "Nights (Feel Like Gettin' Down)," "Suddenly," and "Love Zone." Some S.O.U.L. releases are marred by inferior live material, but this set consists of the original studio recordings.
